Putting my money where my mouth is

I didn't realize that I had a question from Reader Ver. She asked if I had any original songs. For Band Members reading this -- we could add this original song into our repertoire (if you want to). BoBo likes to sing it slower. As written it has a melodica part which is fun. I am including the PDF and a video for your consideration.

  1. Hey, what a great song! It definitely fits in with the type of music we enjoy playing in the band. We should definitely add this to the play list. I love the story line of the lyrics and the cheerful sound of the melodica part. Nicely done! :)

  2. I know that song! You must have played it for me before. I loved the rhythms in it, as well as the melodica part. I need to get myself a melodica! You reminded me of myself at the end. My banjo teacher told me to write a song and not make it funny. It was hard. I don't know why it's easier to write a funny song than a serious one. You definitely should add that to your repertoire. You inspired me to get a concert uke, which I got for Mother's day. I love the portability of the uke! I took it to Sunday School, where I teach the 16-18 year old class. I played the children's song, Zaccheus Was a Wee little Man, for them. Then, we talked about whether it was doctrinally correct with the scripture. (It was, but it left out a few important points.) The kids seemed to enjoy it. I made them join in on the chorus as I repeated it ad naseum!
