Welcome to the inaugural post for my blog celebrating music. Whether I am merry or sorrowful music enriches my life. I am getting older and in my middle age, I am remembering the childish things that have made me who I am. For example, Snoopy formed my attitude toward life. From him I learned that I can choose to be crabby or I can choose to be happy. I choose to sing and dance. No matter how hard or disappointing life can be, if I'm still singing, I'm ok.
The internet has made my learning, teaching, and performing music easier and more accessible than I ever thought it would be. It is only after I have exausted the internet, that I finally sit down and create resources that I cannot find. Because of how much I have benefitted from the efforts of others, I have decided it is time I give back.
Please take a moment to check out my blog, especially the pages dedicated to Beginning Piano Resources, Ukulele Fun, and Family Band Time.
If you have suggestions an arrangement you would like to share or an arrangement you would like to see, please indicate in the comments section.
Thanks for visiting,
Joan
You definitely have gone through life dancing and enjoying the music! I look forward to reading your blogs!
ReplyDeleteI'm ticked off that Barbara found your blog before I did! I'm the fourth follower! Nevertheless, I'm excited about it. I'm wondering if I can do something like this to add to the fun. I love this idea.
ReplyDeleteI would love it if you would help as I am already planning on cannibalizing some of your materials anyway. You have no idea how often we refer to the brady family songbooks. Bobo is busy animating another video for me as I have a youtube channel I created just for this blog. If you'd like you can upload whatever materials you'd like as well as post your thoughts. I have four pages started but I would also like a string page and a recorder page. I think it would also be fun to do some long distance collaborations (I add a track, you add a track, maybe even annette and barb will join in) If you're interest, let me know and I will try to add you as an administrator and we can just go back and forth -- unless you think a competitive sister site would be better. :) -- P.S. I need a copy of Wanda the Waitress.
